We're a local team that designs and runs road, trail, and relay races across the Treasure Valley. You can count on a clearly marked course, a smooth packet pickup, swag you'll actually wear, and a finish line worth sticking around for. Every race also gives back to a cause right here at home.
We race on the Greenbelt, up at Bogus Basin, through the Military Reserve, across Indian Creek Plaza, in Julia Davis Park, and below Lucky Peak Dam.
Who we are
Local races for every kind of runner.
Boise Running Races creates high quality races for runners at every level. Our calendar runs from 1 mile fun runs to full marathons, and from Friday nights on the trails at Bogus Basin to a 45-mile relay through Boise. Whether it's your first race or your fiftieth, we want the start line to feel welcoming and the finish line to feel like a celebration.
Relay teammates trade the baton on the Greenbelt in matching Hawaiian shirts, because the costumes are half the fun.

Over $50,000 raised for our community
Every race we host supports a cause here in the Treasure Valley. Since we started in 2022, our runners have helped us raise over $50,000 for local groups like Ridge to Rivers, the Bogus Basin Nordic Team, the Women's and Children's Alliance, and the Boys & Girls Club of Canyon County.

Teams share a 45-mile road relay through Boise, and solo runners take on the full 50 miles.

Run the 1 Mile, the 5K, or the Youth 5K in downtown Caldwell, with proceeds going to Advocates Against Family Violence.

You'll go home with something you earned.
Every Bogus Trail Series runner gets a custom hat from Fleet Feet Treasure Valley, whether they race one Friday night or all three. Idaho Running Day finishers earn a medal designed by our own team, Boise Front Trail Festival finishers earn a locally designed medal, and every Caldwell Classic runner gets a locally designed race shirt.
Then stay for the finish line party. In 2026, that meant food trucks at Lucky Peak, a beer garden at Ann Morrison Park, music and free massages on Indian Creek Plaza, and a free community fair in Julia Davis Park.
