Welcome to the 2025 Idaho Running Day race website!
The 2025 Idaho Running Day is officially sold out. We wish we could have an endless number of people join us, but we have officially reached max capacity at our remote shuttle location. Idaho Running Day is a great event for all athletes with a 5k, 10k, Half Marathon, and Marathon.
It takes place along the picturesque Boise Greenbelt, from Lucky Peak Reservoir to Southeast Boise, with stunning views of the Boise River.
Idaho Running Day attracts runners from across Idaho and the Pacific Northwest, with fantastic prizes from our local partners up for grabs.

Packet pickup will be available before the event. We STRONGLY encourage participants to pick up their packets BEFORE race day.

Fleet Feet Meridian
3573 E Longwing Ln, Meridian, ID 83646We will also be hosting a shakeout run with our great partners Fleet Feet Treasure Valley, Saucony and Superfeet immediately following packet pickup at 6pm at Fleet Feet Meridian on Thursday, October 16th.
Distance options range from 2-4 miles, and there will be snacks + drink, raffles, and giveaways. All paces welcome - LEARN MORE HERE
RACE DAY PACKET PICKUP :
We will have LIMITED race day packet pickup for those unable to make it to a Fleet Feet location who are NOT riding the shuttle.
Race day packet pickup will be at the Start/Finish line at the following times:
Marathon/Half Marathon: 6:30 am - 7:30 am
10K / 5K: 7:30 am - 8:30 am
We highly encourage you to pick up your packet in advance.
RIDING THE SHUTTLE?
We will have a dedicated packet pickup for shuttle riders at the Shakespeare Festival parking lot. Bibs and safety pins will be distributed as participants board the shuttle, and the remainder of your race packet - including your t-shirt - will be available for pickup at the finish line.
If you have questions or just want to see our amazing partners at Fleet Feet Treasure Valley, participants riding the shuttle are still welcome to attend packet pickup! Please note, however, that your bib will only be available at shuttle pickup on race morning.

PLEASE CONSIDER CARPOOLING!
Not only is it great for the environment and saves on the parking fee, it also helps us manage less traffic on race morning!

Parking in the main lot at Sandy Point Beach is $7 and can be paid in cash or card the morning of the event. It is likely that the attendant will not be present by the time of the start so CASH IS PREFERRED as you are still required to pay and could be ticketed.
If you are an Idaho Resident AND have a PARKS PASSPORT make sure to bring it on race day and have it in a visible location in your vehicle and you will be all set!

In addition to parking at Sandy Point, there will also be parking available at Lucky Peak State Discovery Unit which is the perfect warmup/cooldown distance to the Start/Finish Area, about a 10-15 minute walk!
RACE DAY SHUTTLE (ON A PARTY BUS!)
Planning on taking the race day shuttle but haven't signed up yet? Please do so now! Registration for the shuttle add-on will close at 11:59 PM on Wednesday, October 8.Access your profile via the link below, and follow the instructions included further below in this email to add the shuttle (free!) to your registration!
Please note that the Shuttle Drop Off & Pick Up location is the perfect warmup/cooldown distance to the Start/Finish Area, about a 10-15 minute walk!
INSTRUCTIONS TO REGISTER FOR THE SHUTTLE
AGAIN, PLEASE CONSIDER CARPOOLING!
Friends and family are welcome to join you at the finishers’ festival! If they are not traveling in the same vehicle as you, please encourage them to take the FREE shuttle!

There will be gear drop available for all participants in the 2025 Idaho Running Day event.
Gear Drop will be in a marked tent near the start/finish line. Each bag dropped off must be marked with the participant’s bib number. Boise Running will provide tape and markers to mark bags. Bib numbers must be shown to pick up your item after the race.
Boise Running will have a volunteer monitoring the Gear Drop area, but is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please pack light and only bring what you need for the day!
All items in Gear Drop must be picked up by 3:00 pm after the race. Left items will be brought to Fleet Feet Meridian for two weeks and then donated if not picked up.

Restrooms at Start/Finish:
Need to go? There will be porta potties near the start/finish area.
Sandy Point Park also has 2 restroom buildings that will be open on race day. Both have ADA compliant restrooms.
On Course Restrooms:
NEW THIS YEAR: There will be a PortaPros unit at every Aid Station which is about every 2-3 miles on the 10K, Half Marathon, and Marathon Courses.
On Course Nutrition:
There will be Gu chews, gels, and waffles as well as Tailwind hydration at every Aid Station (about every 2-3 miles on the 10K, Half Marathon, and Marathon Courses). Visit your closest Fleet Feet Treasure Valley to stock up for practice before Race Day! They offer a great deal on all nutrition products.
Food at Start/Finish:
There will be several food trucks (savory & sweet options) at the Start/Finish Area. Please support these local businesses!
Race Distance Transfer:
Deadline = Monday, October 13th
Need to change your race distance? We've got you covered!
Please follow the instructions below to change your race distance. There is no charge to change your distance, but you will be required to pay the difference if transferring into a longer race. The deadline to transfer distance or defer your entry to 2026 is Monday, October 13 at 11:59 PM MST.
Bib Transfer:
Please follow the instructions below to transfer your bib to someone else. There is no charge to transfer your bib. You have the choice to gift your entry or receive a refund once the the other person pays for their entry while registering.

Group Run at Fleet Feet Meridian:
We are also hosting a group shakeout run as part of the Idaho Running Day festivities at Fleet Feet Meridian (3573 E Longwing Ln STE 105, Meridian, ID 83646) on Thursday, October 16 at 6 PM.
Distance options range from 2-4 miles. There will be free food and drink, raffles, and giveaways from our awesome partners at Saucony and Superfeet.All paces are welcome and you do need need to be registered for Idaho Running Day to attend the Group Run!

We are still in need of volunteers for this year's event!
We are pleased to offer 50% off a 2026 Boise Running event of your choosing for the first 25 people to sign up to volunteer!
The rough time commitment for volunteers will be 6:30 AM - 1 PM with breakfast, lunch, and snacks provided!

All clubs with OVER 10 SIGNUPS will get $150!
